The receiver also has a Pager vibration, which offers a clear vibration to alert dogs while training. EXPANDABILITY: With a medium output and the ability to expand to 2 dogs, the iQ MINI is the perfect compact training tool for smaller dogs with sensitive skin. This allows you to maximize obedience training with up to 2 dogs to get the most out of a training session. 400-YARD RANGE: The range of this training e-collar is perfect for any and all simple commands for your dog. With a range of 400 yards, this e-collar is a great choice for basic obedience training and behavior management.

I bought a second Dogtra IQ mini because I thought the first one was defective. They were both wrong. The charger didn't match in color so I had to hold it by a rubber band. I have already passed the return date and have contacted the company to extend the return date. I have exceeded my return date due to holiday and then the Covid 19 lockdown. I have not heard anything yet. I couldn't find a way to get help from Revane who sold it to me. They just sent me to the company.

Inconspicuous best of electronics training collars

Nice and small device for use on small built dogs; However, the battery does not last more than a day and a half without recharging. We have a young Beagle who needs reminding to listen from afar. The collar doesn't seem to have a stimulation mode that draws our dogs' attention. I put the collar around my arm and found that the stimulation mode was very weak and almost the same as my wife's. The electric mode needs to be around 60 out of 100 to get my dog's attention. This device is not…

The answer to the question “I need the best for dogs”

My friend recommended this training collar to our puppy. He is 10 weeks old and has started biting and biting. He is never around other puppies so we had to help him understand that this behavior is not acceptable. I have four grandchildren and I don't want him to bite them. This collar changed my life! On the first day it was amazing how this reduced his behavior. I've only been using it for a week and have found that I only have to press the remote 2 times a day. A friend of mine spent a few…

Inconsistent use

While I have enjoyed using the Dogtra collar in the past and have recommended it to several people interested in dog training, I cannot recommend the Dogtra IQ mini. If the dog is not wearing a collar, he will stimulate very constantly when the remote control indicates it. However, my smooth terrier did not receive a signal about 30% of the time. I'm not sure if it was the dog's head or the dog's body or something else. 70% of the intake just doesn't seem fair to the dog and interferes with…

Good collar, terrible transmitter

I am a professional trainer and needed something for a very small dog so I gave it a try. Here is my professional opinion. The collar itself is overall good. Fits well, works well with small dogs, nice, light and compact. However, the transmitter (portable) is complete junk. It's cheap plastic that's sure to shatter if you drop it, and the intensity dial is arguably the worst part. It moves fairly easily and is in an awkward position, making it easy to accidentally move it - which it does all…
