Ideal! Fits awnings, screens and accessories

Yay. I did it. Knocked out the old rivet, hooked in my new slider and bam. It is finished. Rschunimagu. My neighbor came to see if I needed any help and it was done. 😁 72 and a woman. I can still do things. Perfect!

We fixed our camper tent.

The tarpaulin of our motorhome did not slide on the rails, upon inspection we found that this part was bent. I threw away the old loop and installed this one, everything works fine now. It actually appears to be heavier than the original we replaced.

They fit perfectly with the A&E sliding arms!

I would give this product 5 stars but unfortunately it was almost impossible to find a riveting tool in big stores big enough to set rivets so I had to use a bolt and lock nut that it then had to be cut to fit the slider assembly when withdrawn for storage. In any case a quality product.

Excellent replacement part

This part was easy to install. Be sure to note the location of the old part to avoid guesswork during reassembly. Drill through the end of the existing rivet to remove the tab on the existing pin so it can be removed. The end of the new rivet (opposite the head) is pre-drilled (a small hole in the center of the rivet, about 0.125" deep) to make it very easy to punch with a simple round hole punch.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Expensive

Perfect replacement for my A&E awning on my 2001 Fleetwood.

Perfect replacement for my A&E awning on my 2001 Fleetwood Tioga. Much easier to make than I expected. I removed the lever holding the bolt by removing the square head screws that prevent it from slipping out. The support arm remains anchored to the ground. I used a 1/4" bit to remove the head of the rivet and used a new rivet to knock the old one out. hit the rivet maybe 4 times, great. Reinstalled and works fine. Total repair time is 10-15 minutes.

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

The perfect solution for my shed!

Fits perfectly! Exactly what I needed. I was a bit nervous that it wouldn't fit in my tent because I couldn't find any information about my tent. All I knew was that it was made by that brand. Not sure if I was just lucky or if this part is universal. Somehow it worked. I had to drill a rivet out of an old broken slider so I could put the new part on the extension. Then the new part went great. You will need a way to install the new rivet (which I wasn't prepared for) but I hired some help to…

It's a good idea to have a spare on hand.

While assembling the camp for the trip home, one of our gliders broke and had to be replaced. I found exactly what I needed for my canopy and ordered it. Arrived quickly and had no specific instructions (as stated in most reviews). No problem, because there are many videos on the internet showing how to replace it. Spread the rivet in a vise with one blow, then crushed the head with a hammer. Not difficult if you take your time and track your progress. The awning bracket has 2 square head…
