Couldn't get it to work properly

Supplied without instructions. I tried using my dried hair to blow up the color and it kind of worked. But I had to keep the hair dryer on the polish for more than 3 minutes. And then he is not swollen like in the pictures. I'm not sure if you need an embosser. Could work better.

So much fun!

THIS IS VERY NICE! draw your picture let it dry Apply heat (we used my husband's heat gun, low heat). Watch your photo come to life! The heat fluffs up the ink giving it a three dimensional effect and vibrant color so cool to look at. fun for kids! Works well on thick paper and black mixed media!

Great creative pens!

I love these pens! I read the negative reviews and I think maybe the users didn't know how to activate the puffiness. I have an embossing gun (actually two of them: Marvy and Martha Stewart) and they are pretty well inflated. I don't think you can use a regular old hair dryer no matter how many watts the hair dryer has. Embossing heat guns run much hotter (they're not for kids - they can blow so hard the paper starts to turn brown) and dry very quickly, bloating the ink. Great colors!
