I love that cats hate it but it makes a very comfortable pillow for humans. The heads fit in the center opening and the walls support your neck. I don't think I would find this in a pillow store.

The bed is not the described ring shape. The center of the bed is just as plump as the sides: it ends in a rounded sphere with stitching where you'd expect a lower, less padded center. I washed this bed before use. Washes well on LOW setting and LOW spin. I put it in a mesh laundry bag to keep it in the best condition through the wash cycle. The ability to remove the cover is very convenient for washing. I dried it on medium with no mesh bag and it was in PERFECT CONDITION.
