Its convenient install and it works right out of the box with a ton of options for tones. The reason for the 3 star rating is the volume is low. I have a single story 1000 sq foot ranch and its installed in the middle part of my home and I can barely hear it if I'm a room with the door closed.

We got this for our office and it’s amazing ! We are not handy people whatsoever but had no trouble installing this in just a few minutes . We have a large warehouse and can hear the chime throughout without it being annoying . Very happy with this purchase

All I want is to hear a chiro when one of my doors is open. With this, you're stuck with either your choice of doorbell sounds, or early nokia ringtone sounds. They do work, they do sync pretty easily and are pretty easy to "program". I'll probably trash these soon though as I can't stand the sound choices. It's personal preference though

It works good. I have it on my front door and the door to enter the garage. My 2 yr old likes to mess with the door handles so it can alert us whenever the door is open. You can change the sound but I chose to keep it on the standard chime.

If you have a toddler, this can be a lifesaver.We bought this specifically to be alerted if our toddler leaves her room during the night. It works.A family a few towns away was not as fortunate last night when the temperature dropped to minus 8 and lost a toddler due to the cold.

I can’t remember when I bought a quality and easier item to install than this. Everything was perfect; even the screws were quality and didn’t even need a pilot hole mounting the push buttons to the door frame. Use a variable speed cordless w/ a philips tip and you’re all set

We just moved into a bigger house that has bedrooms on both floors so I got this as an added security system to put on the doors and possibly the windows. It's well made and has lots of ring tones to pick from. It's easy to use and you can sync it to others easily if you want. It also syncs with a doorbell camera as well. I'm pleased with it.

It took a little while to become comfortable with the setup. Once we did it was very easy. It does take a little while to setup each pair. You can have 20 separate transmitters paired to 20 separate receivers and each combination can have it's own ring tone. That would leave my head spinning, but it's possible.The two receivers + three transmitters are perfect for a store front with a back door for deliveries. I have a 3 and 5 year old and it's very easy for them to unlock the front door and go outside without me knowing. Well not anymore thanks to these easy to install and very affordable door alarms. We absolutely love having them.

Great little alarm. works on any door or window. You might need to get creative on the installation (not all doors/ windows are flush).

Very simple system that requires very little setup. The sound volume could be a little bit higher for better elderly use, but overall a good buy. Fast delivery.

Talk about easy. The hardest part is opening the box. I’m kinda hard of hearing so I like that it lights up and I can turn the volume up high. Love it! Installed in about 2 minutes.

Works as advertised. My space small so volume is not problematic. I used Velcro hook and loop strips to secure to the wall which is necessary based on past experience with other brands.
