Small and not clingy

Went with this instead of other doorstops from Amazon because they're trying to give the illusion that it's big, solid and heavy. Received the item, it's tiny, my door isn't an unusual size at all, yet it's not tall enough to reliably do its job. Even if he touches the door, it won't stop him from sliding. I hate the amount of stuff on Amazon that tries to scam very small items that don't do the job.

It looks used.

The product I received was already opened, it had scratches and some material with a crust on the edge. It also had no logo as shown in the picture. Judging by some of the reviews I'm glad I can return it. However, the disappointing thing is that you can sell something that is not as advertised and visibly damaged, and yet the buyer is someone who is uncomfortable returning it. Even if the product was not explicitly exchanged, it does not work well on parquet even with some resistance.

Nice heavy dog โ€‹โ€‹proof doorstop

I am very happy with this stylish, surprisingly heavy doorstop. Looks very nice and holds the door well. This is the right height to wedge under a door to keep it open all day, or to keep it slightly ajar for airflow. The main reason I bought stainless steel was so my dog wouldn't chew on it. She ruined the previous rubber, before that she completely ruined the wood, and I needed something that would work. It appears to be an item she will leave alone. I will definitely buy again, but maybeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • No instructions

The best laptop stands!

It may seem a bit odd, but I don't use them as doorstops. To keep my laptops on top and allow air to circulate underneath, I tuck them under my computers and use them as laptop stands! They work really well because they don't slip on my desk - the bottom is very grippy rubber - and they're well weighted since they're metal. Also, two of these cost a lot less than a laptop cooler or stand at HECKUVA, and my laptop fans don't perform nearly as badly. As a bonus, it also offers a good typingโ€ฆ
