It may seem a bit odd, but I don't use them as doorstops. To keep my laptops on top and allow air to circulate underneath, I tuck them under my computers and use them as laptop stands! They work really well because they don't slip on my desk - the bottom is very grippy rubber - and they're well weighted since they're metal. Also, two of these cost a lot less than a laptop cooler or stand at HECKUVA, and my laptop fans don't perform nearly as badly. As a bonus, it also offers a good typing angle. But I'm sure they are doing a great job in keeping the door open for you!
