🔋 Dorcy 4D 4.8V Miniature 41-1663 Replacement Battery Review

Stores no longer run out of lightbulbs for products they sold not long ago. It was the perfect replacement, it matched the flashlight and was brighter than the original. I'm ready for winter blackouts

I do not recommend these as they burned out when placed in a lantern. I put my original bulb in and it still works. Either they are of poor quality or I was very unlucky and got a pack with two defective bulbs.

I mixed it up with some other bulbs I bought at the same time in my first review. They are tiny but bright and a perfect match for my old Coleman lightbulbs. When the originals failed, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a replacement. The lamp has a dimmer, with which it also works.

These are good lights for my old Maglites. However, I recently discovered that for the same flashlights, there are LED bulbs that are brighter and last longer. So now I keep these traditional lightbulbs on hand as spares. They work great, but new technology has replaced them in my daily use.

I have an old flashlight that runs on a large 6 volt battery that I haven't used in years. I bought a new battery and these bulbs for it, but it turned out that the lantern's switches and contacts were rusted and couldn't be repaired. darn. So now I'm ordering a new one, which means I now have a spare battery and bulbs to run for the rest of my life. :)

My problem with this light bulb is that its description is misleading. It is sold as "Dorcy 6-V/4D-4.8-V, bayonet socket 0.75A". Pear. This is NOT a bayonet base, it is a "flange base miniature lamp". It doesn't have two pins holding it in place. The only thing that makes me give two stars is that I taped it to an outlet and it works.

i ordered a replacement maglite led bulb and really didn't like the fact that it was impossible to replace the shine a small spotlight to focus. So I ordered this lightbulb and it works great. I will keep a spare Maglite bulb in case I have it on hand next time I need a bulb. But if you're looking to replace your Maglite flashlight, look no further.

Bought to replace incandescent bulbs in a pair of flashlights and Coleman's emergency light. The difference in the amount of light emitted by these lamps is enormous. My flashlights have gone from being normal or downright miserable to light-producing monsters. Replacing a lightbulb is no different than replacing a traditional lightbulb. Just remove the old one and insert the new one and you're done. In time I will replace all the incandescent bulbs with them, but they are not cheap. . . .

I couldn't find an Eveready C-whatever bulb when mine blew out. Eveready Utility Lantern is cheap and widely available. I don't think I would buy it again but I still had good batteries for it that I haven't used. I don't see this bulb being any brighter than the one that came with the flashlight, but it's ok. To extract the original bulb, you must use pliers. Unscrew the cover and twist the black plastic thing holding the bulb. At least with my flashlight, I had to make sure the bulb was lined
