Waste of Money: my feedback

I purchased this product for my automotive needs and was extremely disappointed. The gasket did not fit properly and I ended up having to use another product instead. The only positive aspect was that the price was relatively cheap. However, the low price was not worth the frustration and hassle of dealing with a faulty product. Don't waste your money on this subpar drain plug gasket.

Pros
  • Easy to install and replace old, worn gaskets
Cons
  • May fail to provide a tight seal, leading to leaks

Perfect fit for 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L V8

Fits like the original on my 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L V8. The original hasn't been phased out in 8 years but I figured it was time to replace it to avoid problems, especially at this price point.

Pros
  • Oil drain plug
Cons
  • Almost OK

Broken on initial installation

Installed with correct bolt and factory torque specifications. Even poured some oil for the first installation. The outer ring of the seal came loose after the initial installation. The Flat still seals the oil pan perfectly, but ordered a new OEM bolt with a built-in gasket. Don't waste your time, it's garbage.

Pros
  • Engines & Engine Parts
Cons
  • Unfashionable
