Good price and ease of use

I used this to replace a broken remote control on a 2007 Malibu. The remote itself costs $15, and a local locksmith charges $45 to program the remotes. I bought this and another Revain remote and programmed them with this product. It took less than five minutes and just follow the instructions. Please note that the module can only be used a maximum of three times, so you cannot do business with this product. I ended up saving a few bucks and a trip to the locksmith. Great easy to use product.

Only works if you have the original key fob

Note: This product will NOT work if you have the original key fob. The list should reflect this. The product obviously couldn't work, but for the price I can take it to a locksmith or dealer for programming, which lowers my bill a bit. If you have a pre-2006 GM, Chevy, etc. product, you can program any key fob. Keychain only, you just need to google it. In my case I can't as I have an '08 GM product and need to make arrangements to program the product.

Works perfectly with interior

It worked SUPER! One of the BEST things I've ever bought. Don't give the dealer your $100 for it. It is very easy to install the chip reader and the instructions were precise. Used on the 2007 Pontiac Solstice. I used the clicker that came with this purchase and the additional one I bought online a long time ago with the intention of going to the dealer. Once plugged in, I heard the "beep" as instructed, then a simple press of unlock and lock at the same time and the locks on the doors locked…

Has been working since 2008 Saturn Aura/Malibu

The original factory remote has been fried. Use the included pairing tool that plugs into the car's OBD port, follow the instructions and everything works. Some complain that the remotes turn off over time. I will provide an update when this happens. At the moment I'm about two weeks into the setup and everything is still working fine. The remote control is IMO factory quality. The Dorman brand can be found in car dealerships like AutoZone or O'Reilly, so I trust this brand. Worth trying $50…

The programmer works fine.
