Replace worn brake pedal pad.

The suggestion to warm up the replacement shoe was correct. The old one came right away and this replacement was a perfect fit. To put it on you had to stretch a little and unfold the elastic hem on one side. Once upon a time he was perfect. Don't hesitate to replace the gasket. The new one feels good and my foot doesn't slip off the brake. Worth the cost and effort.

Ideal for exterior and trim

Perfect replacement for my 2002 CR-V. The fit is a bit tight but it should be for a good fit. Place the soap and water mixture in the grooves, working from the top, top corners and down the sides, then do the bottom side corners and the bottom lip should snap into place. It's easier than just trying to pump it up and yelling insults, I tried it first! You can soak it in hot water or leave it in the sun for a while to soften it.

Great replacement! for body

Bought for my 2015 Honda Odyssey. Looking at the pad in the box I thought it was too small but it fits perfectly. In fact, it looks exactly like the original seal. Other reviews have written about soaking the pad in hot water or using other lubes, but I applied it straight out of the box using just my hands. Start at the bottom, then move to the top corner, then continue to the remaining corner. Yes, I had to tense my muscles a bit, but it took about 5 minutes. Considering the price, this is a…

Fits 2005 Honda Odyssey

Installed this fairing on our 2005 Honda Odyssey. It's nothing fancy, but it's a rubber pad that looks just like the factory pad. It's tight, but that's what you want. I didn't use hot water, lube, or prying tools - just my hands. I started by inserting the bottom of the pedal first, then working through a top corner, then through the top to the other top corner. Make sure the lip on the back of the shoe completely encloses the pedal and is flat and level all around. It was really just a little

  • Good but not great

This pedal cover was perfect for my 2001 4 cylinder Accord LX, but bro, it was hard to work with. In anticipation of this, I smeared the inside of the pad with petroleum jelly so that it gets onto the metal part of the brake pedal. I've had success, but here's a tip: apply a moderate coating of petroleum jelly to the pad's inner "slot" and then use a SMALL FLAT screwdriver to install it to the pedal. Since the cutout for the pedal is smaller than the pedal itself, you'll need to tighten it…
