Read before buying: looms and accessories

If you have 7mm fork wires, this product may not be suitable for you, as it is suitable for 7mm and 8mm fork wires is suitable. 8mm fits very tight. I want them to do exactly what I need and not nearly enough according to their accountants. I wouldn't buy them again.

Dimensions. Engine clamping groove 7/8” wire retainer 7mm

Dorman Spark Plug Wire Retainer 40284 Fits my 1990 GMC 2500 5.7L engine. The latch slot that fits into the metal bracket on the engine is 7/8". The portion of the clip that holds the spark plug wires is 7mm long. My wires were 8mm but still fit.

Not the best for me

Used on 89 Chev 3500 454 They don't even come close to my OEM. The rosette is very wide (1β€³) and instead fits over my 1/2β€³ side mount faucets. So yes I got them working due to the lack of an OEM dual holder, glad I only needed 1. Maybe better for different engines.

Fits 396 Big Block Chevy

Fits perfectly on my BBC 396 rocker cover with Tonawanda style chrome stamping and retainer keeps wires from falling out like old OEM's. I use them with Accel Ceramic 9013c 8mm connector wires and they fit great. At that price I'm buying a couple of backup sets today.
