🔧 Dorman 46013 HELP! PCV Hose: Optimal Performance & Easy Replacement Review

Wow. Talk about a bad product. The expected lifespan is about a month. Absolute rubbish in terms of quality. Unbelievable!

Revain incorrectly states that this hose will not fit a 1999 Grand Caravan with a 3.8 liter engine. The fit is okay though, which is why the Revain is wrong as my research has shown. The quality is not very good, hence minus 2 stars. Dorman used to make better parts.

ONLY LASTS 7 MONTHS - Made in China, cheap junk! Now I'm looking for a replacement but haven't found one. The original lasted more than 18 years, this is an accurate comparison of American and Chinese production. !If anyone knows where to buy another "Made in USA" replacement please post the information here.

This hose will NOT fit a 2005 caravan with a 'push in the valve cover' " PCV valve . This is for old screw type valves. for 2005 you will likely need Mopar #4781252AE (please check your vehicle). In addition, the part is well made and also works for older applications.

As already mentioned, the service life does not exceed a few years. The only upside is that it fits well and Dorman have a lifetime guarantee which they honor even if you buy through Revain. Whether the effort for a warranty replacement is worth it is another matter. Unfortunately I could not find a better supplier for these hoses. I considered using a standard 5/8" fuel hose for this application, but Dorman didn't really pull it off with a free replacement.

don't waste your time. This product is perfect but it doesn't last long and after tearing it 3 times at the airbox junction I had to throw it away. It is better to buy a Gates molded hose and cut off the unnecessary part. It has a section that fits perfectly and is much more durable. It's easy to understand when it's in your hands.
