Plug and play good for spares

Had to tweak a bit to get it to idle as expected, plus it was an easy plug and play part. It took 10 minutes to remove the old one, index it and install the new one. It appears to be of good quality as are all other Dorman parts. My 2005 F-150 5.4L V8 did not require modification.

Hmm, not sure yet.

On my 2004 F-150 5.4L I think the toe-in is a bit off and maxed out on the adjustment. I wanted to let it wear out a bit, try to re-list it, if not I might have to find something else. Now I need to get my reverse sensors to work backwards. If they don't work, I'm pretty sure my reverse lights won't come on either.

Perfect for spares

Bought because my O/D light started flashing randomly on my 2003 Ford Expedition. I haven't had a single problem since installing this new range sensor. Removing the wiring harness on my old one was tricky and I was afraid of snapping it from the elements and dry rot - just be diligent and take your time. Also, it was difficult to make sure it was in neutral, but I completed the install and everything worked great. It was a 5 minute install but I can't stress myself enough to waste your time.

Worked perfectly best at baud rate

Installation was perfect when it worked as expected. Please note that the stem that this item is placed on is usually heavily rusted. In order to remove the old one, the stem needs to be scraped/sanded a lot, and then you need to carefully remove the old one. Also note that there are two slots that need to be perfectly clean for the new one to work properly. I had to take a scribe and carefully clean the grooves (not easy). No wonder Ford dealers can charge upwards of $500. Replacing this part…

Simple solution to a really annoying problem

I had a problem with my 2005 Expedition where it sometimes started and sometimes didn't. I knew it wasn't the battery, alternator or starter motor so I figured it was the ignition switch. I also bought it from Revain and replaced it, but I still had a problem starting. If I fiddled with the switch or pulled it in the park, it would kick in right away, so I knew it was the neutral safety switch. It was a total of 15 minutes and very easy to do. If you don't know how to work with cars, there are…
