Don't waste money.

Installed this rack on a 2002 Camry LE. The boot hole at the wide end is round, but the shank it attaches to has a flat (hex) side. I used the old boot as an adapter from the round repair boot to the flat surface of the axle that the boot attaches to. Failed to charge after only 20 miles! The breakage was NOT at the splice. This cover will not fit 2002 Toyota Camry LE V6.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

It was said that this product is suitable for my car, but it is not.

Didn't quite fit my car. The large diameter CV joint boot repair piece, designed to fit the axle under the wheel, was about an inch smaller in circumference. I simply used the extra glue they provided in the gap and tightened the zip tie around it. It should still stick, but it's not a permanent fix and will need to be redone later!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poor manual

Cheap patch but not a permanent solution

It was fairly easy to size and install, probably took about 20 minutes after jacking up the car, removing the wheel etc. Follow the instructions in the letter, being careful it is important to ensure that the area where the adhesive is to adhere is not contaminated. It was all because the trunk fell apart after about 10 miles anyway. I wish I could just bite the bullet to replace the axle shaft first. $25 down the drain.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I won't tell

Waste of time and money!

It might work fine in a big car or truck, but too many things get in the way in my small car. When I caught it and didn't catch it, grease had entered the glue channels and no cleaning (without removal) could remove all traces of grease from the channel! So the glue didn't hold and I wasted a lot of time and money! OH YES - parentheses are bullshit too! They have recesses for the screw to tighten the clamp (instead of holes). When you tighten the screw, the clamp swings out of the way and the…

So far so good for boot kits

So far it's held up - it's been 2 months since I've put it on. Few things. It's stiffer than my original boot. Also, I now see that the boot section rubs a bit against the arm component when panning, allowing a hole to form in it. So if you put a smaller inner clamp on the axle you may need to stretch the boot more to avoid this. and i can do it. I've reinforced the glue line with a flexible gasket, but I'm not sure how much that helps. It's a little tricky to visualize and stick on once you've

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • No automatic

The first was an asshole. The second one worked great!

Pretty difficult to glue the last part but I managed it. Also a bit small for my 2001 s10 but I used some RTV to fill in the gaps. Overall it works beautifully and is a lot easier than taking everything off to put on the right thing. 5000 miles, including off-road, and it's still a shot. Make sure you get rid of all the old grease first before filling with grease and don't overfill or the glue will have an impossible time to work. The glue is very runny but dries quickly, which can be both good

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Everything is ok

Glue the two halves together to hold the moving part. Bad idea!

I have a 1997 Camry that I use as a car when my other car is in the shop. It was gifted from my son-in-law, the car has one owner so I decided to take it. When I replaced the driver's side ABS sensor, I noticed grease all over the suspension. The trunk of the CV was severely torn. I don't want to invest in a 24 year old car. I was hoping to replace the axle, I did the right thing but I have no noise. I looked at the boots' resume and saw this part. All videos viewed before purchase. For me the…
