Not the best fit. Try RockAuto

I don't know why I keep buying Dorman products. They rarely fit. The o-ring slid right in with silicone grease and a light hammer blow, but none of the screws would align. Finally, I wrapped each of them and slowly tightened them. Luckily they didn't clean the aluminum.

Pros
  • Feel Good
Cons
  • Not as fat as other choices

Leaking, but beautifully painted

As in many other reviews, my hose was leaking, also at the weld of the bracket. I was hoping that time was up, maybe the manufacturer would fix the problem. NO. There is also a quality control problem. They are easy to check for pressure leaks. Use your hand on one end and your mouth on the other. That's what she said.

Perfect fit for my 2003 Chrysler Town and Country

Perfect fit for my 2003 Chrysler Town and Country. I changed that, the water pump, the lower radiator hose and the V-ribbed belt at the same time. There are no component leaks. This intake pipe is not leaking, I just replaced it due to rust/corrosion on my old pipe. After replacing the water pump I didn't want to continue.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Available in black only

Make sure it is the correct part as there is another

This part is a perfect match for the 2001 Chrysler T&C 3.8L. BUT remember that there is another possibility. My 01 T&C 3.8L has a side oil filter heater/cooler. Check Dorman 626-305. Make sure you buy the right one. I just installed it. fits perfectly. But I had to return it when I realized my mistake. I suggest those installing this put a dab of soap on the o-ring before installing. It will be much easier to slide into the body.

saved a Beaucoup Yankee Dollar.

are perfect for my 2005 Chrysler T&C Touring, easy to install and I saved over $200 at the dealer by doing it myself. OEM Chrysler is $90 in the dealer parts department. Please note that this applies to a vehicle without an external oil cooler. I originally bought 626-305 and it has an extra connector on the side, look at the part on your car and make sure you buy the right one, they are not compatible.

  • Water Pumps

The radiator broke and when I replaced it I found that it was bad too.

I removed the lower radiator hose and noticed that the metal tube inside is coming loose. It was probably the original from the factory so I don't mind replacing it now. This is easy to miss when replacing the stock radiator hoses. I don't think they fail often, but when they do, they're easy to replace. Good product. I suggest you clean the area around the motor mounting point before removing the old one. This seems like a good place for dirt/oil to collect on these motors!

The part fits as advertised. No greasing needed O

Item as advertised. The O-ring does not need to be lubricated. The engine MUST BE COLD to remove the old pipe. Loosen, but do not remove, both 13mm tube mounting screws. If this is an OEM hose clamp, loosen the clamp on the lower hose by squeezing until the clamp retaining tab snaps into place. Slide the clamp at least 3 inches away from the tubing. Place a 2 gallon bucket or larger bucket under the hose/pipe connection. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently loosen the rubber hose's contact with
