🚗 Dorman 674-232 Exhaust Manifold: Perfect Fit for Chrysler / Dodge / Plymouth Models Review

This manifold was not identical to the original and I had to come up with a few different screws that were not included. But it did the job and works great now.

Well that's better than no substitute. My main issue with this is the horrible port shapes, not the best shaping. So some grinding/connector adjustment is required if you want to maintain significant airflow. Counterweight etc. is ok. As for the hardware, I like the brass washers, the rest is poor quality (compared to OEM) in my opinion.

Fits well, I did not use the gaskets that came with the kit. I kept them in stock. The seller had the best price anywhere @ $270, the header was still expensive but you get the part so you can work and work at the auto show. Now I'm swapping out the six for a 318 with 350 hp. In hindsight, I should have just replaced the stock V8 from a Dodge truck. Dorman turned to Brand. Anyone wanna buy Super Six and 904? lol.

I bought this exhaust manifold for my 1970 Plymouth Slant 6 about a year ago. I've changed the factory settings many times, so I decided to try these. So far no problems. Factory units always pop and make noise, but this one has been working for about a year and doesn't pop or make any noise. The only thing that differs from the factory is the automatic choke. The factory does not work on this collector. Go to carbsonly.com and ask them to sell you the right electric choke.

1973 Dodge Dart 225/6. Pros: Glad to find such a complete kit new for a 46 year old car. I wish I could give more stars. Cons: Build quality issues. The included exhaust bolts were the wrong size, smaller than factory. It required drilling and tapping, difficult work on such a large workpiece on a home drill. Worse, they were misaligned (twisted) so the studs didn't line up with the collar on the exhaust. One of the mating holes was unthreaded and the spacing was offset by 1/8 inch so it didn't
