I ordered these from a Subaru dealer at a much higher price having read of instances where cheaper units came without threaded bolt holes. I was surprised that the three screw holes were unthreaded on this expensive unit. After purchasing the threading kit, cutting aluminum holes was easy. However, I wonder if I could get the same motor elsewhere for a quarter of the price. When I emailed the dealer I bought it from, they told me to contact Subaru. If you have a 2000 Subaru Impreza, do not purchase a remanufactured imported Cardone 47-4103 window regulator motor. The Cardone I bought and had to return was completely upside down. What the original engine had on the left, the Cardone had on the right. This means that when Cardone is installed, the motor is at the top of the regulator, not the bottom, which can interfere with the movement of the glass.
