🔧 Dorman 83281 Window Crank Handle: Quality and Durability Combined Review

The handle in my hand broke on the second use. If you buy it, you can throw it away immediately and save yourself the time wasting on installation.

As others have said, the handle quickly failed after installation. still works, but nothing else is available. From the landfill about equally thin with age.

Broke after 1 month. It took a long time to get here. Fairly easy to install but it broke when my son first tried to wind down the window. The only reason it took so long was because it was cold outside and you didn't have to open the window. Dinner was disappointing!

Should have studied better. Broke the same day I installed it. You shouldn't come back. FYI these Dorman grips are everywhere for 1 star. Obviously the plastic used is not suitable for this application. You know they are garbage. But they still sell them as high-quality, or at least semi-quality, replacements. They aren't worth a dollar if they were in the can of a deal. Literally go with everyone. And beware of people renaming them to their own. I just picked up a used one from the scrap yard.
