1995 Ford Ranger Standard Cab Door Repair I'm only giving 3 stars due to the lack of instructions on how to remove the old door. This is a very complex process. It is imperative to remove the passenger seat. A special mirror is required. Dremel and/or suitable cutting tools, cordless model preferred. There are no warnings about how close the atomizer core is to the bottom pivot. I almost gave up, but I ended up actually cutting out the bottom pivot (very carefully) on both sides with a hacksaw.

Kit instructions are vague and cannot be followed as written. The part is built like a tank and worked very well, but I decided to make other, more complex (less halfhearted) modifications to install the part. IMPORTANT: This is NOT an insert or part bolt. I used this in my 98 Eddie Bauer Explorer with electronic temperature control. Although all application manuals state that this is only for manual AC, it is exactly the same as the original except for the top part of the metal loop. It just fits well.
