Fits Dodge Caravan Fits Exhaust & Emissions

Product will fit and come with new hardware. During transportation, the box fell to the ground (most likely in a warehouse) and crumpled the metal edge. I sanded it before installing to make it smooth. More tape is needed for packaging.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Socket required

Guaranteed for exhaust and emissions

I tried replacing the EGR valve myself but the bottom bolt on the valve wouldn't go past the alternator. However, since the price of the EGR valve was very cheap, I left the job to a more professional. Bottom line: no check engine light!

Keep all your documents if you have a car that runs on fuel oil.

Broken for a year (probably because my van uses some oil). I bought one locally with a lifetime warranty and they have replaced it TWICE since then. They'll probably have to replace it a few more times before I get rid of my minivan. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THIS PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE. It's just easier for me to find a local replacement for my oil burning minivan.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not the best

Dorman 911-203 EGR valve failed

This did not work on my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. First I had code P0406. I received a P0404 code after installing a new valve. Working with my mechanic (my inspection was due) we were unable to pinpoint the problem. Finally replaced the Dorman valve with a new one from Autozone. Problem solved. At this point my 30 day return window had expired and I couldn't figure out how to get even a partial refund for a defective Dorman valve.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Updates

Out of service within two weeks

Original EGR valve replaced with Dorman. The van fault codes were cleared and the vehicle was handled normally again. Two weeks after installing the Dorman EGR the van started stumbling and showing fault codes P0400 and P0405 - EGR bad (!) Replaced Dorman with a Chrysler OEM EGR valve (also via Revain) and the van ran the last 1000 miles outstanding. Dorman is a lot cheaper than OEM, but that's definitely false economy. In this case, use a Chrysler OEM part. By the way, the original droveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Good price! (only asterisks)

Great price! (star only). Too bad it only lasted 4 months. This EGR valve was for a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. Difficult bolt removal but we installed it ourselves in a few hours. The caravan worked fine for 4 months then the Dorman EGR valve failed. How painful! Took it to the shop for a second exchange. They said they had a lot of problems with the EGR valves. A MOPAR valve is recommended instead. The cost of the MOPAR part was only slightly higher than Dorman's. But it would be worth fixingโ€ฆ
