Doesn't engage properly

The bracket is in the wrong place and doesn't fit properly. Had to find another solution to fix it with a screw that clamps the bracket to hold it. Were it not for the emergency for the smog certification I would have sent it back.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Almost never

This fits my 2002 Toyota Camry - I removed the air filter housing so I could clean the throttle body (due to overclocking delay) anyways i broke the damn plastic connector where the hose connects _ Tried to glue the old two parts together - SUCCESSFUL. working sensor. Good news - it was $20-$30 cheaper than the OEM part. Sometimes things suck, but at least it hasn't hit my wallet hard. BTW - works as advertised.

Pros
  • Exhaust and Emissions
Cons
  • Slightly torn

This solenoid is the evaporator purge valve on my 2001 Toyota. The original part worked fine until 2021 when the bracket broke off. I needed a replacement urgently and bought this part. It was available and accessible. The part worked when installed. About two months later the car began to have problems including intermittent idling at stop signs and then not being able to restart, stuck in traffic which did not trigger DST codes and I spent a great deal of time and effort diagnosing theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • No work
