Perfect fit for my 2013 Ford Fusion SE

This valve has a fixed code P144C, my engine light went out 2 weeks after installation without restarting the computer.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Minor issues

Good alternative to OEM product

It's a bit difficult to install but it fits in the 13 year old Ford Fusion 1.6 Ecoboost, it had no fault codes at all, it was on my car for a month with no codes.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Big and bulky

WORKS BEAUTIFULLY!

This item was easy to put on. The hardest part was waiting for him to reset 3 codes that the mechanics told me in the order of a thousand. $65 and 3 minutes later. BAMM!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Fit 2013 Fusion and Worked

What's not to like? Side note - he didn't immediately reset the check engine code. The car had to travel about 300 miles before it would one day start, eventually when the car was started.

Pros
  • Best in its Niche
Cons
  • Repair

Make sure the installed item works

The item installed correctly. But the engine light is still on. The gauge still only shows a problem in this part; but the part doesn't seem to work yet. We will return the part for a refund or exchange it for another.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • No automatic

Do it yourself. Buy this part!

Dealer/other shops I called asking $300-650 for installation. I watched a YouTube video and saved a few hundred. Takes less than 10 minutes. This is easy to do. My engine light just went out. A week has passed. I don't know why but my Ford Fusion 1.6 is running normally again. I'll fill it out and really look at it.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not sure

So far so good: exhaust and emissions

My original 2013 Ford Fusion 1.6L Eco canister purge valve was not working properly. After decelerating from freeway speed, my engine died and made a whirring noise in the front driver's side. Even after filling up with petrol, the car failed to start in two cases. I then ordered this one, replaced the old one with the new one and it's been a few months so far and it's been great, my issue was resolved with no problems.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Hard to tell

It was my friend's car and I don't have a picture right now. I ended up cutting the breather valve off of this assembly because the idiots at Ford know it's a consumable part and they won't sell it to anyone but them. The ones I really needed I could only get from Ford and they wanted $200. So I bought this one to cut. I used a small piece of fuel line and clamps, then cut the hose off the other and clamped them together so I had a new purge valve but didn't have to change the entire assembly…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Clarity
