Kia Optima 2006.5 #winning

Perfect for Kia Optima 2006.5. It is located on the right side of the engine behind the intake hose. Once disconnected, move both clamps and remove the hose to remove the valve. It won't slip, just grab it (not by the bracket) and lift.

This was the correct part for my 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe and fixed the check engine light problem and improved performance and fuel economy. I wouldn't recommend this particular option as it's easier/simpler to pay a little more and get a solenoid along with a rubber mount and vacuum hoses. I managed to do it but it was more of a problem and I'd happily buy the parts together as that's an option.

Not difficult, but difficult to access: difficult to install.

Installed on a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. It is in a very inaccessible place: near the bulkhead, under the intake manifold, usually inaccessible from the front, from all sides and especially from below. The real trick is to take it off. Her pro tip: The valve slides out of its holder towards the driver's side as soon as the hose clamps on both sides are loosened. I didn't know this and spent a lot of time removing the bracket under the bottom of the manifold. Note: It does not slip out easily. It…
