Broke twice. - Cable

The handle broke off right after assembly. They sent it back for replacement and used it for a year then the handle broke off again. The execution is poor.

worked great on my son's 2001 Focus SE

Write size and length. No questions. The hardest part was getting the new cable through the firewall. Attaching the end to the hood latch was also a little tricky; not much space to work.

not worth your money.

Bad montage. I installed it on my 2000 Ford Focus ZX3 and it broke on the second try. Compared to the factory part that was in my car, the rubber and metal nuts are underpowered. The plastic handle just fell apart. Never buy from this manufacturer again.
