I had to adjust the pins in the light socket

I am very happy with this tail light board. Right out of the box the sockets had to pry back the pins with a small screwdriver to make the sockets hold the bulbs better. Bending the pins took care of the intermittent contact issues. I would definitely buy again.

Good aftermarket solution at a good price

This is the 3rd tail light board I have had to replace on my 2001 Malibu, 1st on each side and again on the driver's side. All 3 boards were made by Dorman. These boards fit well and are an economical replacement for the original. The first two, one of which is still on the car, have served for about 2 years. Cheap solution that works (most of the time)

I received this part to repair a circuit board that was corroded and shorted out due to an imperfect rear Lantern was assembled lets moisture through. It worked in the end, and it's a cheap fix if you don't need the entire $70 build, but it was very difficult to get it back in place. First, for some reason, the bulbs didn't want to be put in. These were new or carefully used bulbs that snapped easily into the original part, but this new replacement felt like it had been mishandled or something.
