Made in China and wrong screws

First made in China. If I had known that, I would not have bought it. I really don't like supporting an America that hates commis. Second, the props that come with it aren't even the right ones, and yes, this part was meant to be a direct replacement for a '98 Corvette.

So far so good: transmission and gearbox

I installed this in my car last week. These "guibo" disks are meant to last thousands of miles, so we'll have to see how they hold up. This washer was slightly thinner than the one I removed from my 1982 BMW 320i. It may have been because the old one has been expanded over time, but I'm not sure. The screws on this Dorman disk are also hex screws. So make sure you have hex bits to attach this thing to. If you only have regular socket wrenches, you're out of luck. I tightened the bolts to…

Good parts so far

I've had good luck with Dorman parts in the past and they match what I've had before with this brand. They're a lot cheaper than factory replacements so I'm very curious to see how well they hold up. So far no problems. I will update this review in the future if I encounter any issues. *UPDATE* It's been over a year since my torque tube repair with no problems. I'm really surprised they stick together as they are in my daily driver who is regularly abused with 300 shots of nitrous oxide from…

Good product good price

After buying a second device I feel the need to seriously revise my review. I previously gave a 4 star review. The first Dorman replacement I bought lasted just under 4 months and replaced a non-Dorman disc that lasted just over a year. The problem could be related to an incorrect installation (there is a specific orientation this drive must be installed in) but this Dorman branded replacement does NOT have arrows indicating which direction it should be installed.
