Worthless Nut Cost Me Money

This nut is a complete joke, and I regret ever wasting money on it. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice as an automotive professional, I can confirm that this nut was not worth a dime. It caused me a huge headache and resulted in additional expenses because I had to replace it with a more durable product.

BAD, BAD The quality of the 3/16 inch nuts.

Decent stock but someone at Dorman needs to inspect/adjust/repair/replace the stamping equipment that makes these nuts. In my case I needed 3/16" bolts (probably the most common size in the universe) and they were all completely useless because they don't have a hex on them so you can't turn them with a wrench, as they are all completely round! Other sizes in the range do not have this problem. (of course). I bought two sets and both sets showed the same problem with all 3/16" nuts. So if you…
