🚙 Dorman 970-069 Rear Center ABS Wheel Speed Sensor for Jeep Models: Superior Performance and Reliability Review

It fit and worked in my 05 Liberty Jeep, although I think all that was wrong was a plug I just got in Napa since I had everything disassembled.

An excellent spare part for a normal speed sensor. Dorman manufactures high quality parts. Long story short, my speedometer stopped working, I replaced the old speed sensor with this one, now it works like a charm.

Until recently this was only available from a dealer. I installed this part and it fits perfectly! The delivery was early and the packaging was good! This Jeep was notoriously bad with these sensors and the OEM sensors only seem to last about 6 months! I decided to try this! Has been working flawlessly for 3 months now!

We have a 2005 Liberty with a diesel engine. It's a great car with exceptional fuel economy that does everything we ask of it. The only annoyance for the first 140,000 miles was the electrical side of the ABS system. Because of the way the wires are routed to this sensor, which is located at the top of the rear differential, the wires have a tendency to break, causing the brake and ABS warning lights to come on and the odometer and pretty much that Turn off everything on the overhead console…

This sensor is a suitable speed sensor for Liberty KJ. If your speedometer and odometer have failed like mine did and your wires aren't frayed/cracked/kinked/broken/corroded (which is common due to their proximity to the parking brake line), your sensor is probably dead. Online stores offer the good one old "speed sensor" for the Liberty, I took the risk of buying it. I'm glad I did. My issue was fixed for less than $30 (note: dealer or repair shop charge over $100).
