This is a big hook so it does the job. I'd really like to find one with a longer thread as it's very important that the large object it's holding doesn't collapse.

These are good, not those cheap red ones which are very easy to lay down, I've still used two of these to hang heavy items like my bike rack but they work great for me! These are well built and durable hooks with a nice neoprene finish. I used a 5/16 bit to pre-drill the hole when I installed it into a stud in the garage to hang the bike.
