Very clean for hydraulic parts

Bought for my 1970 four drum Mustang. It was a direct replacement, there were no leaks at all and it leaked easily. I would recommend it

Excellent Product: Replacement Parts

The part fits perfectly, bleeds easily and has great brake pedal feel. I used this in a 1960 Edsel four wheel drum along with the correct metering valve to replace a master cylinder for safety. The car holds up as it should and has a good original look. Very happy with the quality.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Has a residual pressure valve. Contacted the factory but had to pull the tube seat out (using a #6 self-tapping screw and a heavy duty washer) to figure it out and get it out. If you have disc brakes on one of the tracks, you can drag the RPV (unless the factory staff is willing to intervene) to prevent the brakes from dragging.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Volume

Mandatory security update for 1964-1966 Mustang

and other Ford models. The single-bowl master cylinder lets you lose your brakes if one wheel loses brakes. The line or wheel cylinder fails and you lose brakes on all four wheels. Introduced in 1967, the dual key gives you at least front or rear braking, whichever system does not fail, as it has its own master cylinder section, "its own key".

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
