Efficient Automotive Thermostat

My analysis of this replacement part showed that it was very effective at regulating engine temperature. This is important for the longevity of a vehicle. The price was reasonable for the quality of the product. The only con I found was that the installation was a bit tricky, but that could be due to my lack of expertise. Overall, I highly recommend this efficient automotive thermostat for those looking to replace their old or faulty one.

Pros
  • Efficiently regulates engine temperature
Cons
  • May cause overheating if not installed properly

Will not fit: Thermostat housing

Non original product differs by about 2 inches in length and about an inch or so, will not match the water pump. I ended up using the original.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • New competitor available

Non OEM.: Thermostat Housing

Non OEM, down tube was 1/2" forward and about 1-2" too long, couldn't fit rubber hose on it, had to cut down down tube to be removed close.

Pros
  • Thermostat Housing
Cons
  • Can't remember
