I like the different form factors of these cord locks. I've used them on everything from drawstring bags to shoelace ties. They're great for toddlers who don't know how to tie their shoelaces yet but want to tie their shoes. In some cases, when the shoelace was pulled too hard, the springs didn't put enough tension on the shoelace and it slowly slipped down. Top.

I bought these for my baby's pants with functional drawstrings. The thought was that it would be easier for him to unbutton his pants and pull them up since he couldn't tie them yet. They work but the springs are a little weak for the task. You can move it up and down the cord without even pressing the tension release button. They do a "sort of" job, and it's easy enough for him to pull them up as needed.

Spring is strong (but not fun), holes are aligned, packaging is handy, 1 length of paracord fits, not 2 , which is my own fault for not stepping away from the computer to measure the width of the paracord before hitting buy. I've used them on masks that tied at the base of the neck (sensitivity issues around the ears) and ended up having to use a thick elastic to thread the two ends through the hole.

These cord locks are great. I don't know how to explain the sizes other than that they are standard; These are the sizes you would expect for hiking gear, cords and the like. I've used several of each of the three types over a number of months. No questions. The plastic is durable, the internal springs are strong, the small buttons depress when pressed. I've had a few hiking hats that required cordlocks instead of simple hollow beads to tighten their rawhide or cotton cords around the chin. I bought this set of 3 different cord locks and they work great keeping the hat secure even in high winds. I have used these hats several times so far and no breakages or problems. The only complaint I have is that the "approximate" hole sizes given are much larger than the actual clearance hole size, i.e. the maximum drill bit size that can go through each
