I bought these because I wanted a bigger sponge, but they don't look like any sponge I've ever seen. They should be called "spongy rubber blocks". They are more like an eraser than a sponge. They are hard on the outside (there are no Swiss cheese holes at all), so they are not suitable for washing a car. Not flexible enough to wash dishes.
