My wife and I are big drinkers and whiskey drinkers. So when we broke an old glass we got this one as it looked like a decent replacement. The double wall is definitely legal, keeping your hand warmer and your drink colder. They're great for holding square silicone tray ice cubes if you're making old fashioned ice cubes or similar. They look cool when they are having fun - highly recommend!

I use Tervis glasses which work well but are plastic and look "cheap". have a solid, healthy feeling. Due to the semi-vacuum, glasses do not sweat even in the summer heat and humidity in Florida. They say you can pour hot beverages straight into a glass without tempering, although I haven't tried it yet. Version with the same advantages.

If you drink scotch, whiskey or hopefully bourbon, stop reading this review and buy these glasses! They are well designed, durable and a pleasure to hold while sipping. Great product. The packaging was great. So I tested it by putting 3/4 cup of ice in a Sun Tea glass and a heavy-bottomed Manhattan glass. Took photos every hour for 3 hours - the difference was amazing - NO condensation on the Sun Tea glass (much on a regular one) and the temp after 3 hours was 33F (Sun Tea) vs 44F (almost, actually) .
