I've been using Skinny Syrups Salted Caramel Coffee Foam for a long time, but I don't know where else to buy it. So I thought I'd try this little device to get foam on my morning coffee that I love so much. I add some salted caramel liquid (still available) to about 2 tablespoons half and half in a small but tall pitcher, microwave for 20 seconds, then use this product to fluff it up. Whether you like this milk frother depends on how much you like your froth. I was hesitating between this and the Milk Boss Single Whisk Foamer and chose the Double Whisk because I like a lot of foam. HOWEVER - I couldn't get the right foam with it. It stirs up *too much* air for the type of lather I like, so the lather was always fluffy and moist with large air bubbles. I like foam that approximates "microfoam" like in a good latte. I have the original design and use it daily to mix coffee with cream and some whipped cream. I've always loved the way it gives me that coffee and cream look. First day with this whisk and I have to say it seems to pack a lot more punch than the previous two similar products from another brand. I'm not sure if the motor is better than my previous ones, or if the main benefit is the double crown head. My only complaint, however, is that the battery compartment has VERY tight tolerances.
