Ideal for sensitive lips!

I'm allergic to most lip balms (actually only lanolin works for me) and this one is perfect because it has soothing, long-lasting lanolin hydration with a hint of color. I have the sweet potato color, it's a very transparent reddish pink and adds a lot of shine. It's not *quite* as thick as pharmaceutical grade lanolin, but it's close, and thanks to Dr. Lipp that he didn't add too much flavor I don't smell at all. I always carry it in my purse - a sure sign of love :)

Buy it, you won't regret it!

(Sweet potato in the photo. The worst pigmented the 3rd) I received one of these as part of my cosmetics monthly subscription and I fell in love! It's the *perfect* balance of a moisturizing lip gloss and a light tint. The pigment is not too dark. I wear it both at home and on a date. Lanolin makes your lips so soft without that awfully sticky feeling. Most natural lip products are either sticky or don't last very long, but this is the perfect medium. Can you tell I'm obsessed with this lip…

That costs too much. I still buy this item.

The ultimate lip balm. I hate containers. There always seems to be something else just hiding in the tubes. Too expensive. But that's all I've used for years. I think they will win. It's lanolin and all natural. I don't have to worry about migraines from artificial coloring. my lips are happy But damn. Is it expensive.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Available in black only

A nice change in lip care

I'm a lip balm and lip balm lover. I think we all have our own preferences when it comes to sensations, smells and tastes. I don't lick my lips so I can't appreciate the taste. I can't detect any perceptible scent, but I don't have a bloodhound nose. I like the rather thick feel of lanolin on the lips. Heavier than Vaseline or Aquafer. I have the darkest shade, elderberry, and am very happy with it. Not much color but I wasn't expecting much. If there was spf it would be perfect.

Pros
  • It's okay!
Cons
  • Available in white only

Addicted to lip balm

I have an oral fix that led to smoking and frequent lip balm use. I quit smoking but I still have fine lines around my mouth. I received this and the bottle was so small and didn't really mess up my mouth. So I shrugged and started cleaning my house. It took me several hours! to realize that I didn't use my lip balm and that my mouth felt great! I walked over and looked in the mirror to see a more pouty, flushed mouth with smaller lines. It felt like I had just put it on and felt so soft! I…

Excellent alternative to expensive brands

Bought as an alternative to the discontinued and very expensive Fresh Lip Balm/Tint. It's a small tube, but I'll probably be wearing it every day for several months, especially as the "big" but clear tube of the same product will last as my only lip balm for almost a year. The elderberry color is gorgeous and just enough shade to add some color to your face. The untinted version is a staple in our house, but because it's so thick and lasts so long, I could only use it as a night mask when I…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
