Vibrant Color Adds Magic to My Art!

I love using this violet shade in my Arts and Crafts projects. As a result of my tests, I determined that Dr. Ph Martins Bombay Violet is a highly pigmented, water-resistant ink that flows smoothly from pen to paper, creating a beautiful bright purple color that really pops! My only complaint is that it can be a bit messy to work with if you're not careful. But the results are well worth it!

Pros
  • Intense color saturation that is bright and vibrant
Cons
  • May stain clothing and surfaces with its deep pigment

Nice shade and works well

I use it wet on wet in artwork to help the ink flow as a waterproofing layer for watercolors. I like working with the PC. Martin Inc.

Pros
  • Art, Painting & Art Supplies
Cons
  • Miscellaneous

Great way to embellish fabrics!

Awesome Product! Very intensive, dark colour, dilutable with water to lighten. I tried it on fabric that was pre-dyed and didn't change color or blend with the background. A great way to layer different colors that will keep their original color but also bond with the fabric meaning the color will flow inwards like a dyed fabric. If you paint on top of a different color, it will mix with the color you painted first and you'll end up with the other color or brown "mud" if you're not careful…

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
