Not as durable as my old one

I had one a few years ago and it was great and has lasted forever. It still worked but didn't look as fresh anymore so I threw it away and ordered another. NOT the same, it looks the same as my old one but the coarse crystals that do all the work have started to flake off leaving slick plastic. Don't worry, especially if you're buying this to replace an older version, pure junk!

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • unreliable

My feet should be in the "Oh my god, my heels " ad!

I don't understand why some people don't have those hard, flaky heels and others like myself don't get ahead with frequent grooming! But I really like this peeling stone. Above I add Dr. Teals and peeling my heels in the shower. I have tried some of these (expensive) electric/battery powered rotary heel peels and to me they are prohibitively time consuming and clean with poor results. I've stayed with them and they work better than those expensive devices.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • boring packaging

Not like before

I've had one of these files for years and finally had to get a new one because I couldn't clean it up. The new one is a big disappointment. The pumice started chipping off almost immediately in the part I use most. Won't buy again and will look for something else.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Updates available

Disappointed - foot, hand and nail care

Bought 10 years ago. The old one still works, I thought maybe it's time to replace it. Got a new one at the end of May 2019. Used it maybe half a dozen times. Each time it breaks into lil more. The 10 year old works better than this one. I think the old one was solid stone, the new one is a piece of plastic with crumbs of stone glued to it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

Not suitable for foot, hand and nail care

I contacted the seller with no response so I will leave a review. I ordered the replacement of the same stone that I have used for years. Unfortunately, they don't make them like they used to. The stone coating began to wear away on first use, exposing the smooth plastic underneath. After several uses, it will not be useful.

Pros
  • Best in niche

Didn't take long! in Foot Files

I use Dr. Scholl's Dream Walk for years, but this one didn't last more than a week. They usually last months before fading. I'm not sure if I received a defective file or if this is a product they are now making. I just opened a new file so I'll update my review after a few weeks of use.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Anything I can add

Ease of use for foot files

What is so simple? It has a handle and the "stone" part has curved edges. That way you don't have to lean as far. And you can use concave side for outer healing OR convex side for same area OR experiment. Have you ever used a rectangular pumice stone - doesn't fit the mold. Even though I'm second. I think I pressed on the handle too hard and it broke in half where the handle meets the stone. But I ordered another one - and try not to squeeze so hard and keep the handle closer to the stone part.

Pros
  • Impressive
