Don't think it's OEM

. It's just a washer that fits on a 94 rx7 drain plug. Not exactly the same as the factory one, but will probably work just as well.

Pros
  • . Best
Cons
  • . Unsure

Almost identical to OEM.

These are not Mazda OEMs (or at least not labeled as such). I've compared them to some real Mazdas I own and couldn't tell any noticeable difference. I don't expect any problems and the price is right. I use them on a 2006 Mazda 3 i Sport.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Safety

Identical to Mazda OEM

I compared 20 washers to a used OEM washer. They are almost identical. Same inner diameter, outer diameter and thickness. I took a chance ordering these because a reviewer had a photo comparing them to the OEM and they were nowhere near their picture. Also the delivery was very fast.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Disappearing

It fits and does the job

For the price I'm pretty sure it's not OEM but it fits perfectly and keeps the drain plug from loosening. Remember that the washer does not block the drain hole, but the drain plug does. The washer is only there to keep it from coming loose. I got 20 pieces, that should be enough for the life of my CX-5.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all

Get them even if you don't change your oil.

These connectors work well and fit well. I can't trust oil change shops anymore because these washers are never replaced or thrown away. I started changing my oil to maximize service quality. If you don't want to change the oil yourself, you can at least buy one and request an oil change place to use it after you put the drain plug back in place.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Doubtful

Sorry I can't believe they match the advertised OEM specs.

. Prime Ave washers are significantly smaller in both outside diameter and overall thickness. My biggest concern is the lack of thickness. The inner diameter is correct, but that's about it. They are aluminum but I can't tell if they are the same quality of aluminum or not. All in all, I cannot recommend this product. look elsewhere

Pros
  • . Good product for the price.
Cons
  • . Something else.

No longer the best in parts

Just installed on a 2017 Mazda 6. These seals look and feel just like the original. Fits perfectly. And let's face it, it's just aluminum spacers/washers. As long as they are the same size, OEM or aftermarket is the same. Update 08/14/2019 After 2 weeks I noticed oil stains under the car. I had my suspicions and upon checking I found that the oil was dripping out of the drain plug very slowly. This has never happened to me when using an OEM gasket. I replaced it with OEM. In fact, the flow has…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Minor issues

Please, please read this guys!

These washers are good quality and do a good job. I have read all of these comments and the negative comments are related to oil leaks. If you do a thorough research you will find that Mazda engines, especially Skyactiv, have a tendency to lose oil through the drain plug, which means that plug needs to be replaced as well. If you have an M18 hex drain plug, they will leak after your engine has run 80,000 to 90,000 miles. This is not the fault of the crush washers, also replace the drain plug…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Fair

Improper sealing - engines and engine parts

I bought these a long time ago and just used them on my last oil change about 7 months ago. It seemed like they did the job just by looking at them, but I just changed my oil last week and noticed that there is some old oil caked on the bottom of the oil pan and where the plug is. I thought maybe the plug wasn't tight enough and used a different washer for my next oil change. This time I checked the drain plug the next day and noticed a build up of oil around the washer and some on my…
