There is a good chance your child could die from it!

I had high hopes for this cradle. I was amazed that it could be used longer than your traditional fixed bassinet. The base of the sleeping area is not strong! When I put my daughter to bed in it for the first time, she rolled over after 3 minutes. It's not fully interlocking and would choke it if I didn't check. She did this by simply elevating her legs, and when the sleeping zone moved, she would simply roll over. I will never put them in. I'm afraid to give it away for fear the child will die

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • makes you angry

I don't like the fact that it tilts from side to side when the kid is lying on one side. It starts to fall in the middle, causing the child to roll over. We didn't use the carrycot until he was three months old and had outgrown his rocking game. It was an amazing carry case that was used to take him from rocking play to a flat surface. Now we're starting to think about moving him from the bassinet to the cradle since he wakes up in the middle of the night crying because he can't get out of one…

«Matress» Too Hard

We received this cradle as a gift before our son was born. It was very easy to put together and I like that it has extra storage space, but it does have some downsides. A "mattress" is simply a piece of board with a very hard surface. Yes, kids need a solid place to sleep, but that's too much. It also tilts back and forth as your child moves. Our child was pinched on his sides and couldn't get out. Our baby is now three months old and I ended up putting his comfiest place in it for him to sleep

Don't waste money on it!

I love the design of this bassinet, it's functional and beautiful, but the "mattress" that comes with this bassinet is CRASH and the Kids II customer service sucks too. The mattress is literally a plank about an inch thick and then has a soft cover covering it. My child is between 9 and 10 pounds and this "mattress" is warped and creased in the middle after 2 weeks of use. Customer service's only solution was to send in a replacement part that would bend again under its weight or get a refund…

The carrycot moves - the baby is face down

The bottom of this carrycot tilts according to the child's weight and position. I tried this for 24 hours and didn't find it safe. I swaddled my 2 month old daughter, put her on her back in the center of the bassinet and every time she landed on her side she landed face down in the mesh wall. The last time I placed my baby in this crib, I found that while he slept he would roll completely onto his stomach and press against his right side, face down into the padding. She's not rolling yet (she…

Ingenious husband firm mattress

First of all, we really like these cradles. We have two of these and have been using them for our twins for 7 months now. We love all the safety features: down sheet/mattress with velcro closure, mesh sides, firm mattress. In them we trust a lot for the safety of our children. We only have two problems: First, we need more polyester sheets. We couldn't find them so we had to get cotton towels which shrink when using hot water or a dryer. Second, as many have said, it is an insert in the…
