Great product, lots of programming options, wish they had the option to buy on the go. I installed it on a 55 inch TV. I cut two long pieces and two shorter ones (8 LEDs each) and used jumpers to increase the length. 8-10 feet would be better for 50 inch or larger TVs. 2020: USB power adapter stopped working. I'm sure the LEDs are fine, but now I need to buy a replacement power supply.

Does everything you expect, the remote works, everything is nice and simple. Sometimes I wish the mic was more sensitive, but when it's loud it's always on. I wish the music mode was more old-school, but it feels more casual. Rainbow fade is the best. I wish the app could do it, but for $10 I can't complain. Definitely worth the money. I installed it next to my glass table so it would light up my table.

This is what I was looking for! The light bar is incredibly bright, much better than what I've used before. The remote control offers a variety of color options and effects. I never normally use the RGB music option, but they look really great because they're addressable! This means each LED is driven separately, not a single color. I showed them to everyone I could.

Some soldering points are a little weak and for the animation to really work I have to actively press on one of the soldering points. The strip worked, the animation in the application is TERRIBLE. There are 120 animations, each representing a color variation, maybe a dozen animations. Just write an application that allows us to choose one color for one side and another for the other. Ordered these and used them in a Halloween costume that runs off a 5v battery and they worked great. Musical responsiveness was great for our use. Then I tried to reuse them in a PC case and connect them to 12V because the top of the control box says "5-12V Input". All the lights got a different color and then only 3 bulbs in the strip were lit. Switching back to 5V didn't help. Trying to power the strip directly without a 5V control box gives the same result.
