Thin metal, very light, doesn't seem to hold fabric when sewing, presser foot always rises I guess because it's so light. Don't know how to sew neatly, will not buy again.

I am a beginner at sewing and wanted to make some masks for my family. It proved difficult to keep my stitches at 1/4 inch. So I decided on this sewing foot. So glad I did. Now I make masks that look more professional and polished. If you're new to sewing or just want your stitches to be even, get these. It costs money. I have a Singer sewing machine and this presser foot is perfect.

Although advertised for my low shank Elna machine it was difficult to fit. As soon as I put it on, I noticed that the front is set very high. It was difficult to get the fabric to work with my machine's racks. Unfortunately I can't return it as my return window closed the day before I tried my leg on my car. My advice: try it on your machine as soon as you get it instead of waiting until you try it on your next future project.
