Dremel product far outperforms brand imitations

I have used it to polish steel sculptures that I have made myself. I have a fake Dremel that works very well. But fakes, especially grinding wheels, are garbage. After destroying fake drums (except drum and mandrel) in minutes, I received several official Dremel products. Day and night. Dremel drums are much more reliable, last longer and perform better. A small price difference pays off in full.

New is not always better.

Sometimes variety is not good. I wore out one of these after 8 or so years. I've gone through both generations of the new quick shifter, both change on their own with pressure. After I wrote a negative review, Bosch contacted me and offered me and a "vintage" drum. They were a bit slow so I saw that and took a chance it was new old stock. It's way better than the new blue quick swap. I use them for detailing and dog claws. This is the only way, thanks to Bosch for the great customer service…

Ideal for trimming your dog's nails.

I bought this item to use a Dremel sharpening tool to sharpen my bulldog's toe claws. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, it has not been possible to give a groomer a fur bag for nail trimming. The "slap" of his feet on the floor was maddening. Since the groomer uses the same, I thought how difficult can this be?
