Despite the amazing concept, there are definitely downsides. Battery life is short lived. I would say that after a 2 hour charge you get about 15 minutes of intensive use. Second, I've read that it can be used wet or dry, which isn't an accurate description as the charging port doesn't have a cover. Yes, you can use the cleaning part wet, but be careful not to get the handle wet.

I bought this to clean tools and other things during a restoration and it works great. My wife often uses it to clean tile/grout in the kitchen and bathroom and we both use it for cleaning of any kind. My only issue is that the battery life is quite short at around 15 minutes. So don't expect to get much done with it without multiple recharges. I actually bought two of these, one from Wal-Mart and one from Revain. Both are useless/garbage. Both suddenly stopped working after less than a minute (cleaning the glass plate). I don't apply excessive pressure, just the same pressure I would normally apply when using a dish sponge. And when I try to turn it back on, the wheel jerks a little and stops.
