My daughter wore it during our trip to Bimini and received many compliments. She looked very cute in it and she said it protects her eyes and face from the sun. She wasn't careful with it at all and it flew away from her a couple of times when we were riding bikes and she wasn't using the chin strap. Also, she stuffed it in her travel case, but it really held up and kept its shape and style. I wasn't sure if it would be good quality or if it would last very long, but so far so good!

only get 4 stars out of 5 because the elastic was not in line with the bow at the back of the head - i used it in mexico and at the beach i had to use elastic as it was windy was. In this photo the elastic is behind my hair so you can see how the bow was on the side and not in the wrapper. I also love this hat and have had many compliments on it. Bought in a hurry for a photo shoot and wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised! It has a strong and flexible wire around the edge so it can be shaped. It is VERY easy to manipulate into any style you want. I had it edge up, down, side and flat. It easily returns to any shape you want. It's a bit big for my small head, but since I usually wear it with a wig, it doesn't really bother me. And if I don't have a wig, I use a rubber band to hold it on my head. The hat looked pretty cool when it arrived apart from the creases which I hoped would go away in the next few days. In short, we wanted to try and show my fiancé and literally the top of the hat started peeling off like someone had taken it with a razor. Less than 12 hours later it just fell apart. Very disappointed!

Love this hat! The brim is wide and completely covers the face and shoulders. I am very careful not to expose my face to the sun (to avoid premature aging) and this hat allows me to enjoy the sun in style. I got so many compliments. This is a must have when going on vacation or staying in the sun for any length of time. hp I actually wore it with the words on the back so the words were easy to read. And you can get wet in the pool. Does not distort shape.
