Got this for the ghost cam. The built-in microphone only picks up wind noise. This microphone makes the sound clearer and without wind noise.

Very light weight item and the clip can easily detach and be lost. The mic works well enough as long as you don't overdrive it. If you use it exclusively for speech, then everything is fine. .The price is much more than it is worth.

My friend suggested I buy this mic for my GoPro as he uses it for his vlogs. It is ideal for motorcyclists as the microphone filters out a lot of wind noise. There is no wind noise in mine or my friends' videos. I just taped the mic into the helmet and it works great.

I use this with a Sony camera on my helmet and the only thing that bothers me is that after recording and playback the sound only plays on one side of the speakers or headphones! Update: I messed it up, I think it wasn't connected properly OR there was a short in that particular one. I just bought another one and the sound is perfect. 5 Stars

All right. The quality is good but there is a 3.5mm jack that doesn't fit my +2 circuit. I replaced the connector with new 2.5mm solder. It is no problem for me. This was for a helmet cam, in which case if they work too well you get a lot of wind and road noise which I didn't want. I bought two of these for both helmets. Both work well and are within specification. They are ideal for helmet microphones.
