High-speed steel tools are good for most general purpose applications, offering a combination of hardness and toughness for wear resistance. Right-hand cut tools have a cutting action that engages when they are run in a clockwise direction. Round die is chamfered on both faces. Adjustment is obtained by a fine pitch screw which forces the sides of the die apart, or allows them to spring together. The slot is beveled. Finish:Uncoated (Bright).

Efficient tool for industrial threading

This threading die is a game-changer in the world of industrial and scientific cutting tools. As my tests showed, this product is highly adjustable and efficient. The threading process is seamless and produces high quality threads in no time. However, the only downside is that it requires some practice to get used to the adjustments. Overall, highly recommended for any industrial project.

1/2 " x 28, that's actually 28 threads per inch

I've tried several Revain 1/2" x 28 dies and so far this is the only one that actually has 28 threads per inch. Customs service. Others would not allow a thread alignment tool to cut into them. This made good thread to attach a threadguard and muzzle device. My only complaint is that this matrix is adjustable and I would have preferred a fixed one, but at least it's the right size.

America drill not made in America

I bought an expensive one because sometimes cheap Chinese ones don't work. Lo and behold, the Drill America brand has a Chinese stamp on it. Maybe a cheaper option would be just as good. Haven't used it yet because I'm not sure I'll keep it to myself, but I've tried hand-threading it onto a sample screw of the same thread and pitch to make sure it fits and doesn't hand-thread - tight despite adjustment. it as wide as possible.
