Description of πŸͺš DWDRSD Reduced Shank Drill America

High-speed steel tools are good for most general purpose applications, offering a combination of hardness and toughness for wear resistance. Black oxide treatment adds lubricity and creates small pockets on the surface of the tool that act to hold coolant near the cutting edge. Round shanks allow use with a wide variety of toolholding systems. When run in a counterclockwise direction (right-hand cut) spiral fluted tools evacuate chips up and out of the cut to reduce clogging. Ideal for drilling in low and medium tensile strength materials.

Didn't spin properly, broke while drilling 3rd hole

I was concerned after putting this in my drill and noticed it was a little wobbly, it wouldn't spin on center. I slowly enlarged the pilot holes in 1/2 inch soft iron and everything went great with my other drill bits. I also drilled some larger holes. I bought this drill specifically for a project where I need to cut holes for 5/8-11 screws. Because the drill didn't spin right out of the box, I was very careful and drilled slowly with plenty of cutting fluid. The chisel stopped the edges of…

Not done right, only buy if you know how to sharpen a drill.

I would give this product 2.5 stars if I could. Although the bit was delivered quickly, well packaged, in the right size and made of hss steel as described, it was not sharpened properly. I don't understand the problem? When you make drills, you might think you need them to drill a hole. I'm just saying you wouldn't want to sell a lightbulb that didn't light, would you? what kind of money would you make When this drill was made they did not provide the proper clearance behind the cutting edge…

So much to say: Jobber Drill

So much to say. When I feel I need negative feedback, I ask myself if the seller deserves it. I have no intention of reducing sales, but then I think how much worse it could be for people using this exercise. This is the second exercise, the third I returned without trying. There's so much routine in these beats it's not even funny. You are literally chewing the material, not cutting it. Received the part in the mail, looked good. Put it in the press to test it and all I feel is a crazy vibe…
