🚰 Universal Replacement Filters for Drinking Water Review

This was a good half price replacement for the original GE replacement filters. Fits perfectly in a two tier system under the meter and I see no difference in water quality.

This is my second purchase of this two component filter. I had to change the diameter to match the first order but it worked. Now my second purchase is also too high - by a few millimeters. I can't modify it to keep the canisters from leaking. Dropped both.

We have been using water filters for many years and this is the first time we have encountered them. The water flow is like a fire hose. It doesn't filter anything at all. My husband reinstalled it to make sure he did it right and it still doesn't filter. The water flow is just too big to work properly. A complete waste of money.

The filtering of these filters is questionable at best. I've noticed that they fit in my suitcases where the clasp wasn't as tight. I've also found that the water flows freely through them, reducing the time it takes to filter the water. The bottom line is that the water that goes through the filter tastes just like the water that comes out of the tap. Chlorine is clearly visible. Stick with the factory replacement. You get what you pay for.
